Lullatone- kawaii music for every situation

Some days ago I stumbled across a band called Lullatone. They make kawaii, mostly instrumental, music with mostly super cute titles :3
The sound of the songs reminds on lovely computer games and are, in my opinion, perfect background music while doing some creative work like drawing or crafting.

They seem to have already a great collection of songs. So far I've only listened to their 'Soundtracks for Everyday Adventures' album.

'Checking things off of a to-do list early in the morning'

Lullatone's songs are hard to find on youtube. Here is a link to their site if you are interested in hearing more of them: Lullatone.

What's your favourite music to play in the background while doing other things?
Let's chat in the comments :)

Lolita 52 Challenge- Combining other fashions with Lolita

Hello dolls

I'm a little late with the challenge post this time. I was so busy I totally forgot about it xD
Well, let's start :)

In my opinion some styles can be mixed with Lolita pretty easy.

This is a quick idea how Lolita can be combined with creepy cute fashion.
(The tights are a bit too neon maybe^^)

This could be a Lolita - Fairy Kei outfit.

Other styles I could imagine to look good with Lolita would be Mori Girl, Decora and maybe Dolly Kei.
If you try to combine Lolita with other styles just keep in mind that the silhouette should stay the same :)

What do you think about combining Lolita with other styles?
Tell me in the comments!

See you again,

Lolita 52 Challenge- 5 pieces that every Lolita wardrobe should have, regardless of style

Hello lovelies

Today I present you the second topic of the challenge. I choosed "5 pieces that every Lolita wardrobe should have, regardless of style".
Let´s start!

#1
A poofy petticoat.
This is the basic item of every Lolita outfit. Many Lolitas do have more than one. You can choose a super poofy one or a flatter one. That totally depends on your taste. However, I recommend to never do an outfit without any petticoat.

#2
A main piece.
This can be a skirt, jumperskirt or an one piece dress. Which you choose depends on your taste again. But without any of it, you can't build up a Lolita wardrobe.

#3
Something for your head.
There is a varity of stuff you can add to your head. Bows, headbands, bonnets...
An outfit with no head accessory always looks kinda incomplete to me. Even if you wear Casual Lolita a small headband shouldn't miss :)

#4
Matching shoes.
Because without shoes you can't go outside ;)

#5
Legwear.
I don't like the optic of bare legs with Lolita. So legwear, like socks or tights, is vital. Even in summer I at least were some ankle socks with my coords.

So these are the five things I think a Lolita wardrobe should have.
I hope you like the challenge so far and stay tuned for the next topic next week!

See you soon,
Yaya

Bodyline order review

Hello cuties

My bodyline.co.jp order arrived today. I ordered two JSKs. I want to write a little review about their quality and my opinion on them.

The first one I ordered is the "L501" on bls website.  It seems to be one of their newer dresses. I loved it from the first time I saw it

The color and the print are so beautiful and the material is comfy and light.

I really like the style if the collar. The bow is not detachable. However the dress comes with an additional bow that you can attach where you want :3

The lace is fine compared to what I paid and I love the polka dot hem.
Altogether I would give this dress 5/5 stars. It absolutely is one of my favorite dresses of all time. I hope I can wear it soon!

The second JSK I bought is "L313"

The dress is in their store since a long time now and to be honest I always thought it is ugly XD But now that I had a closer look on it again I really love the print. It´s so detailed.

It looks so delicious ^^ What surprised me about this dress is that the waist ties are detachable. This isn´t the case with most bodyline dresses I own. I´m not a fan of waist ties so it is a plus for me.

The upper part of the dress is beautifully decorated with lots of bows and lace. I noticed that I have three bodyline dresses with this rose lace. They seem to use it quite often.

The only not so positive part about this dress is that it has quite wrinkled. Will I dare to iron it? We will see.

I would give this JSK 4.5/5 stars as it is a super beautiful dress but the wrinkles are annoying.

To conclude, I´m super happy with my order even though I had to pay customs once again ~
Did you place any orders lately? Tell me in the comments :3

See you next time,
Yaya

New Year´s Resolutions

Hello cuties

It´s the last day of the year already. For me it was a really good year. At the beginning of the year I got new furniture for my room so I finally feel well in my room. I started with this blog and took part in a Lolita fashion show. I went to Lady Gaga´s concert in Vienna, visited conventions and meet ups and made new friends. I made it into the last year of school and some days ago I managed to get tickets for the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu concert in Brussels.
Of course there were also sad days but altogether it was a good year.

So after this sentimental stuff I want to present you some of my New Year's Resolutions. I want to:
  • do a Classic Lolita coord
  • make a Lolita picnic (maybe as a meet up??)
  • manage to get my dream necklace from "cute can kill"

  • do a twin outfit with somebody
  • wear an OTT outfit to the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu concert
  • buy an OP dress
I also want to get fit and eat healthier again ~

I hope I can fulfill these resolutions. 2013 definitely is going to be a year of change for me. I will do my final exams and hopefully make into university. I want to move to Vienna and live in an apartment with my friends.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that it will be a good one for you.  If you have any resolutions tell me in the comments :)

See you next year,
Yaya

Everyday cuteness

Hello my lovelies,

Here are some ideas on how to add some cuteness to your everyday life. Enjoy ~

#1 Your mobile phone wallpaper.
Many of us check their mobile phone several times a day. If you install a cute wallpaper to the background you will be happy every time you check it.

#2 Your headphones.
Lately I saw this super cute headphones looking like cupcakes in a store. I didn ´t buy them because my old one´s are still working but if they ever break down I want some like this.

#3 Your mug.
As it is winter now many people tend to drink warm drinks. Why not adding some cuteness to your day with a nice mug?

#4 Your lip balm.
Honestly, there are so many cute looking, nice smelling lip balms out there. I especially like the look of those available at claires.

#5 Your bedroom.
There are some many ways to add some cuteness to your room. The most common is to just add some stuffed animals, or buy a kawaii bed sheet. Even if your room is small, like mine , you can always find some decor that will make your room lovely ~

This room is so dreamy <3

See you again,
Yaya <3

5 kawaii- characters you should now ~

Hello cuties

Here is another post full of cuteness and inspiration~
I want to write about characters form sanrio, san-x and so on. I hope you like it!

#1 Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma

The first caharcter you should know is san-x´ Rilakkuma. He is a cute little bear. Korilak seems to be the japanese word for relaxing and kuma means bear. Next to Rilakkuma there is also a bear called Korilakkuma (ko means small). With them you also often see a little yellow bird called Kiirotori.
I love these two because I´m really into bears lately and I hope to get my hand on more merchandising of this series

Anyway, did you know that Korilakkuma is a girl? For me she will forever be male xDD

#2 Cinnamoroll

I really love Cinnamoroll <3 He was invented by Sanrio the company that is also responsible for Hello Kitty.
When I first saw him I actually thought he is a girl^^ But now I´m used to see him as a boy :3
I also thought he was a bunny but actually it´s a puppy!

#3 Little Twin Stars

Little Twin Stars are to angel like characters. They were very popular in the 1980s. The one with the blue hair is called Kiki the pink one Lala.
I´m quite in love with this two lately and hope to get some more merchandising of them too!

#4 Sentimental Circus

San-x´ Sentimental Circus is a bunch of cute characters. The main chara is a bunny. Others are a lion, three cute birds, a bear, two monkeys and -one that I like very much- a blue elephant.

I absolutely want such a plushi *-* He is called Mouton

#5 My Melody

My Melody is a cute rabbit girl always wearing a pink or red hat over her ears. She is from Sanrio like Cinnamoroll. There is also a bunny wearing a black hat. He seems to be called Kuromi.

While looking around for this post I found a list of Sanrio´s characters on wikipedia. Check it out if you like:
Also, do not forget to leave a comment ~

Until next time,
Yaya ~
